Does Blue Light Cause Headaches?

Probably not directly. Despite the marketing, there's little solid evidence that blue light from screens causes headaches. The screen-related headaches people get are driven mostly by glare, over-bright displays, eye strain, and poor posture, not by the blue wavelengths themselves.

Where blue light does matter is sleep: too much in the evening disrupts it, and poor sleep lowers your headache threshold. So to head off screen headaches, fix brightness, glare, posture, and breaks first, and cut blue light at night to protect sleep. Blue light glasses can add glare comfort, but they're not a headache cure.
