There's no strong evidence that blue light from screens damages your eyes, so there isn't much "damage" for blue light glasses to prevent. The tired, dry, achy feeling after a long screen day is fatigue, not injury, and it clears with rest and better habits.
Where the science is solid is sleep: blocking blue light in the evening helps protect melatonin. So think of blue light glasses as a comfort-and-sleep tool, not eye-damage protection. For UV, which genuinely affects the eyes over time, that's a job for sunglasses outdoors, not blue light glasses.
